The Last War: Chapter 52, Part 3

A female colonel came running up into the emperor's personal box. She explained herself to the guards, and they let her in. She saluted Marshal Jagatai and then said something to him in a very low voice. He seemed suddenly deeply disturbed. He saluted again and dismissed her. Preparing himself, he turned to his leader.

"Sir?"

"Yes, marshal?"

"Sühbaatar has been taken."

Bleda slammed his fist onto the arm rest of his throne.

"Damn!" he exclaimed.
